SUSAN BATTLEY, PsyD, PhD, is a leadership psychologist and author with more than two decades of experience advising senior executives, management teams, and high performance organizations. She is an expert in executive and organization effectiveness, including CEO behavior, talent strategy and management, and organizational change.

An internationally recognized behavioral scientist, Dr. Battley has a proven track record of designing and implementing customized, results-oriented programs that leverage a senior executive's or leadership team's untapped potential for performance excellence.   She has worked with Fortune 500 CEOs, university presidents, world-class technical professionals, and public and association leaders.

Fast Focus on Success, her radio program on leadership excellence, was commended by the Clinton White House Office of Science and Technology Policy.

She has served as a nominator for CFO Magazine's annual "Global 100 Leaders."

Her book  Coached to Lead: How to Achieve Extraordinary Results with an Executive Coach (Wiley|Jossey-Bass, 2006) is the first consumer's guide to the rapidly expanding field of executive coaching services.   Soundview Executive Book Summaries hails her "a wise guide on the road to greater effectiveness."

Her articles on leadership and executive excellence have appeared in numerous publications, including Leader to Leader, Leadership Excellence, Associations Now, and Management Consulting News.

Her expertise is regularly featured in outlets including the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Business Week, Investor's Business Daily, CNN, CNBC, National Public Radio, Entrepreneur, and the Harvard Management Update.

Dr. Battley speaks frequently to business and professional groups on leadership trends and evidence-based leadership and talent development.  A licensed psychologist, she also holds a PhD with Distinction in economic history from Stony Brook University.

A past board director of the New York Institute of Management Consultants, Battley serves on the advisory board of the Long Island Historical Journal. She is also a member of the American Psychological Association, Society of Consulting Psychology, American Society of Healthcare Executives, American Society of Association Executives, and the National Speakers Association.

DEBORAH EWEN works with clients at the C-suite, senior and emerging levels. Her business experience includes both corporate line and staff roles, including managing a financial services division with assets of over $100 million.  She has worked with numerous organizations undergoing significant business change. Formerly, she was a senior vice president and general manager at an major international human resources consulting firm.

Ewen has advised and coached executives in diverse industries and sectors including manufacturing, government, retail, consumer products, financial services, health care, and non-profits.

  • Leadership development for high potentials
She holds post-graduate certification in organization and executive coaching coaching from New York University.

 

 

JOHN FULKERSON, PhD, has more than 30 years of global experience enhancing the performance of executives, teams and organizations. His experience includes the design and delivery of a wide range of interventions and initiatives for Leadership and Management Development, both as a line executive and external consultant.  He has served as vice president for leadership development at two Fortune 500 companies - PepsiCo and Cisco Systems.

He works extensively with senior executives in consumer products, high tech, retail, insurance, investments, banking, IT, health care and manufacturing.

His areas of expertise include:

  • CEO and senior leader coaching
  • Management team optimization
  • Board of directors consultation
  • Succession planning

Fulkerson was a commission member of the National Association of Corporate Directors' Report of the Blue Ribbon Commission on CEO Succession (1998).  While he works across multiple organization levels, his primary focus is on senior staff and team development.

He holds a PhD in Psychology from Baylor University.

 

MARTHA E. SHERMAN, PhD, is an organization development consultant with more than 25 years of global corporate experience, with an emphasis on the financial services industry and non-profit organizations.  She has worked with executive teams in the United States, Asia, Europe and Latin America on business merger integration and change management initiatives.

Her areas of expertise include:

  • Post-merger integration
  • Leadership program design
  • Executive coaching
  • Offsite facilitation

She is a regular lecturer on leadership development at MIT Sloan School of Management, University of Pennsylvania, and the Cornell International Labor Relations Program.

She holds a PhD in Organization Development from the Fielding Institute.

 

ANNA MARIE VALERIO, PhD, specializes in executive coaching and leadership development aimed at maximizing individual, team and organizational capability. She has more than twenty years of management and human resources experience - both as an internal and external consultant - working in a variety of Fortune 500 companies and industries, including IBM, SONY and Verizon (NYNEX).

Her areas of expertise include:

  • Executive assessment
  • Women's leadership
  • Organization performance management

Her latest book is Developing Women Leaders: A Guide for Men and Women in Organizations (Wiley/Blackwell, 2009).

She holds a PhD in Psychology from the City University of New York.

MANUEL LONDON, PhD, is an internationally recognized expert on performance and talent management, career development, performance appraisal, feedback, and organizational learning. A pioneer in 360-degree performance measurement and research, he has developed performance and talent management programs for an international clientele that includes Fortune 100 companies, professional service firms, nonprofits, and public sector institutions.
